About Nathan Wadsworth

At the age of 9, Nathan began participating in track and field. This ignited a real joy for running, cycling and triathlon. Early in his career, he participated in AAU tack and field qualifying for Nationals and placing top 3 in the 1500 and 3000 meters in the 13-14 age division. He also participated in the Ironkids Bread Triathlon Series making it to Nationals twice, placing top 3 in the 14 year old division. In High School, he began to focus exclusively on distance running. By his senior year, he won two Kansas State High School 5A Championships in the 1600 and 3200 meters. As a scholarship athlete at Wichita State University, Nathan flourished in the environment there and won a couple 10,000 meter Missouri Valley Championships in track and was a provisional NCAA qualifier in the 10,000 meter as a senior. Post collegiately, Nathan competed as a semi-professional distance runner. While training at home in Kansas and spending the summers in Alamosa, CO, Nathan was able to qualify for the Olympic Trials Men’s Marathon in his first marathon at Chicago in 2006. Two of his most memorable running performances were placing 21st overall at the 2007 Boston Marathon, only 8:00 behind the winner, as well as participating in the 2008 Olympic Marathon Trials. A Wichita State University graduate, Nathan received his Masters of Education in Exercise Science in 2007.

Over the years, Nathan has worked with clients who have completed running events from 800 meters to ultra marathons of 100 miles +, triathlons ranging from sprint to Ironman distance, and cycling events from 20-200 miles.
